From start to finish to follow up I highly recommend Pickerington Heating & Cooling! They provide the best service and don’t try to sell you what you don’t need. Punctual and excellent!

I was very pleased with the care and service I received. They came out checked over my AC unit to insure it is all set and ready to go for the warmer summer months. The unit was cleaned and tuned up and all my questions were answered.

Technician called ahead and even arrived early. He was friendly and knowledgeable and completed the service call in an appropriate amount of time.
I completed an AC repair and changed condenser fan motor and capacitor, had to adjust the compartment to allow space for the new capacitor since it was a wider capacitor. Checked system operation and found the system to be operating properly at this time. Fan amp draw was taken and the refrigerant charge was checked.
I completed a repair on a Carrier Air Conditioner. I replaced the evaporator coil. I cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I completed a diagnostic on an Air Conditioner. I inspected the unit and found that while it is cycling, there is no compressor operation. The issue is with a faulty dual capacitor. I replaced the dual capacitor and cycled the system. Operating normally at this time.
I completed a diagnostic on a thermostat. I inspected the system and found the thermostat shut system down once it reached temperature. I cycled and monitored system. Operating normally at this time.
I performed a diagnostic on an A/C. I found unit off at the thermostat. I cycled the unit and it is running without any issues. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked voltage and amps. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I completed a diagnostic on a Rheem Air Conditioner. I inspected the unit and found zero superheat. I opened the supply dampers and confirmed condensate drain is clear. The condenser and evap coil is dirty. The system is 36 years old. I recommend that due to the age, condition and cost of repairs (seen and unseen) that the unit be replaced. Customer is moving forward with a new install.
