I called the evening before and was told the time frame would be between 8-12. My son had his wedding rehearsal in the afternoon so I told the rep that closer to 8 would be better if possible. Greg called at 8:15 am and was here 15 minutes later. He diagnosed and temporarily fixed the problem to get me thru the week. Awesome service! Definitely will recommend and use your services again! Thank you!

Called them before 9am on a Saturday and Adam was right on time, 10 minutes in to the time window I was given. He was extremely thorough, explained everything fully, offered services but was not pushy, and quickly got my A/C back up and running in no time at all. Pickerington Heating & Cooling is now my HVAC of choice!! More than happy with them and highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

I completed a diagnostic on a AC unit. I checked the Carrier furnace and it was all in good shape. I went to the outside unit and found neither the fan motor or compressor running. I opened the access panel and tested the capacitor with no issues, but found there was no coolant in the unit. Low pressure was detected, reason why the condenser was not working. I recommended the unit be replaced rather than recharging and leak search.
I installed a Carrier 96% Two-Stage 60,000 BTU Gas Furnace. I cycled and monitored the system and it is operating normally at this time.
I completed the scheduled maintenance agreement fall tune up on a Ducane gas furnace. I visually inspected the unit and checked the voltages, amps and pressures. Completed combustion analysis. I cycled and monitored system and it is operating normally at this time.
I completed a diagnostic on a Comfortmaker AC unit. I found the the unit was completely out of coolant. I added a little bit of coolant to verify leak and found the compressor was leaking at the compressor plug. I gave the customer options and approved to repair.
I went to the customer's home to make final adjustments with our install.
Upon arrival I completed a Full Install of a Five Star Premium - 96% Variable-Speed Two-Stage Gas Furnace (Up to 100,000BTU) Honeywell T6 Programmable Thermostat/Emerson 1F85U Five Star 16 SEER Air Conditioner (Up to 3 ton) The system is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival I confirmed that the ECM blower motor has failed. I explained to customer that system was installed without any float or wet switches and system also has no secondary drain pan that help protect system and drywall/ceilings, since neither ac or furnace was installed by Pickerington Heating and Cooling we are unable to make repairs for liability reasons. I explained all options with customer and provided a quote for replacement. The customer understands and would like to discuss with home warranty before making the decision to proceed with replacement. No repairs were made on todays visit. System off upon departure.
Upon arrival the customer stated that furnace would not turn on at all, I confirmed that thermostat is calling for cooling but there is no blinking LED on furnace, upon further inspection I found that three amp fuse is blown, replaced fuse and instantly blew again, removed all wiring and one by one isolated each wire, Upon further inspection I found that with all wires secured and thermostat off fuse does not blow, nor does fuse blow when calling for heating or just fan, fuse only blows when thermostat is secured to wall and calling for cooling, after confirming there is no continuity between each thermostat wire tech confirms that thermostat has failed internally, explained all options to customer, at this time customer would like to buy his own thermostat and personally install it, replaced fuse in furnace and left thermostat off but no other repairs were made on today’s service. the fuse is currently good and system is off upon departure.
